Event details

Event site opens 16.00 on Friday - Please do not expect entry to the site or car park before this time!

Safety

• All riders must carry a first aid kit sufficient for dealing with a deep wound
• Ride with consideration for others and obey instructions from marshals.
• There are 3 marshal/first aid points around the course. You must alert the nearest first aid point if you find an injured rider.
• Conditions may well be cold and wet. Make sure you have sufficient warm and waterproof clothing.

Registration

Please allow plenty of time to get parked before registering (see below for parking arrangements)

Camping

This is close to the race route, and not far from the event centre/transition area

Space will be tight. Please pitch with consideration for others. Tents will need to be close to each other.

Generators must be switched off between midnight and 6am

Parking

Cars

If you are camping, cars must be parked off site. We have a new car park on the north side of the road just past the forest entrance.  It will be well signposted.  All cars must be parked there.  You can either walk or cycle the few hundred metres to the campsite.  There will be a shuttle van to carry your kit if you need it.  It is a strict condition of the landowner that nobody uses the car park for camping or sleeping.  Offenders will be severely dealt with!

Campervans and caravans

There is parking for campervans and caravans at the event centre. You must follow marshals’ instructions. Some of you will be up the forestry road on the race route with access to the transition area either down the track or via a signed footpath.

Event Centre Facilities

• Food and hot drinks will be available to buy from Friday night onward

• Bike washing

• Drinking water hose pipe

• Power points for battery charging – bring your own charger. Mark the charger and your batteries clearly.

• Heated marquee for eating, drinking and socialising
